Slowly Back Away From the Yarn

Ok. I have to brag - quickly, while I still can - that I did exceptionally well in using stash and not going overboard with yarn purchased up until Estes. I planned to spend quite a bit there so it doesn't count. But since then, and particulary over the past month... No excuse. Not even going to try. And, I'm only slightly embarassed.
WARNING: Photo intensive post ahead...

And now, since I know you all love yarn at least as much as I do, I'm going to show off. *hehe*

Sock yarn that matches my Must Have Cardigan perfectly. Now to finish the cardigan...

Lace weight yarn to make Madli's Shawl (near the bottom of the page)

Or maybe I'll use this instead - I can't decide

Then there's this to make one of these

And the other two

Then we have the six socks thing going (Mmmmm. Cherry Tree Hill is NICE)

And I've been wanting to make this bag forever

Then there was a sale at one of LYS - can't be faulted for a sale - right??

There's Debbie Bliss Cashmerino for socks for Mom, another skein of Cherry Tree Hill (for socks), and some Cascade Fun yarn (maybe for another triada, I love how this will end up draping).

Then on the way home I stopped at another LYS and picked up

The Adrienne Vitadinni is for a class I signed up for (making this), more sock yarn (I think this is nearing obsession...) and the latest Rowan magazine.

And the last knitting item I've purchased lately is

On sale though... :D

I also have Lopi on order from a LYS for the Weekend Getaway Satchel. But we don't need to talk about that. Yet.

Have a great one! I'm going to go roll around in my new stash...

Ooh, love that color of the Adrienne Vittadini. I'm making the same cardigan in lime-green. It's actually a fun pattern, but you do have to pay attention.

I've gotten through the back and one front. I will finish it before September's over, I swear!

Love seeing all the stash acquisitions.

Oh, I so want to make that Adrienne Vittadini cardigan. I've been drooling over it for months, now.

I'm jealous of your LYS sale finds. I don't know if the stores down here in the Springs even HAVE sales, and I never find out about the ones up in Denver. *SIGH*

Sorry for the double posts. Blogger was taking so long to post, I thought it was stuck and it turned out I posted the same comment three times!

Yea for you Michelle ... I love yarn porn as much as anyone. And can I say that I picked up my copy of VK at a YS on Cape Cod and was so surprised to be reading all about you getting your knit geek on! :) I said to myself, Yes, I've seen that cool PDA action personally. Hope all's well!
